Life at TrendBible: Meet Kerry and Caroline

In our Life at TrendBible series, we take you behind the scenes to meet the talented individuals in our business who are leading positive change in their day to day.  

In our latest Life at TrendBible edition, we are delighted to introduce two of our newest team members: Caroline Hancock, our Client Success Manager, and Kerry Rutherford, our People and Culture Manager. Both bring fresh perspectives and a passion for making a positive impact.  

Read on to get to know them better—both in their roles at TrendBible and in their lives outside of work. 

Meet Kerry, People and Culture Manager

I’m from Newcastle, it’s such a fun and vibrant city and it’s lovely to be working at the new office in the city centre. Outside of work I am a busy mum of three boys and one dog. Running around after them keeps me fit but I also like to get to the gym and dance classes when I can. 

I’m excited to be joining the team and contributing towards the ongoing development of the People and Culture strategy to fully support and promote the benefits of a good company.

Tell us about your Life at TrendBible? What are your People & Culture highlights?  

Hosting my first Culture and Connection event in Newcastle! It was the first time I met some of the remote working team in person and it was lovely to have everyone together at the office. The connection day was a highlight for me. There was a stadium tour at Newcastle St James’ Park, a team lunch and a session on active listening skills. Everyone enjoyed the time they spent together and the feedback from the team was very positive., I’m now looking forward to planning the next team event.

Meet Caroline, Client Services Manager

I live just outside Newcastle with my husband and our three children. My days are largely filled with the kids’ various hobbies and activities. When I’m not cheering at grassroots football games or attending dance performances, I love catching up with friends over nice meals.  

 “TrendBible is completely different to what I’m used to and it’s exciting to be learning something new in a fresh environment with a fantastic team of people.” 

 

What are some of the most rewarding parts of your job?   

I began my career with one of the UK’s leading financial brands right after leaving school and have spent the majority of my career in Client Services. 

Currently, I’m focused on the intricacies of our trend publications. Each day presents new and exciting opportunities.  

I find it incredibly rewarding to interact with clients from around the globe and take great satisfaction in supporting them with trend insights to help solve their business challenges. Additionally, working with a fantastic team makes the experience even more enjoyable!
