Who are the Millennials?
Millennials, (also known as Generation Y), are a demographic cohort born between the early 1980s and the mid-1990s to early 2000s and named as such because they became adults around the time of the Millennium.
Millennials grew up during a time of technological advancements and globalisation, being the first generation to have widespread access to the internet and digital technologies. Millennials are known for their comfort with technology, social media and diversity. They prioritise work-life balance, personal fulfilment, and social issues. As Millennials continue to mature, they have a significant influence on consumer trends, the workplace culture and societal shifts.
