What is Post-Consumerism?

Post-Consumerism describes the societal and economic shift towards a more sustainable way of life. Physical products continue to disappear due to the success of the sharing economy, adoption of the cloud and environmental concerns in buying less ‘stuff’. Moving beyond making and buying more stuff, consumers adopt a reuse, recycle, repair and share mentality.

Post-Consumerism is an important mega trend to track when considering the future of life at home.
